I was the sole proprietor of an electrical wholesale business for over 20 years. Since many of my clients ask me how I made the transition from store owner to full time coach, I will give you a laser version here.

I was noticing a discontent at work. Nothing bad, it was just an unsettling stirring of the soul. I knew I wanted to do work that was more meaningful, but I had no idea what that might be. After all, I owned a store that I was responsible for.

So I continued to ignore the message until one day the message came clearly in the form of illness. My allergies  became acute. I was put on seven different medicines and getting worse. I knew there had to be a better way, so in the summer of 2005 I searched the internet for holistic remedies and that is where I discovered life coaching. I had never heard of it until that very day!

I was intrigued about becoming a life coach so I did much soul searching about both my life and my business.  It did not take long for me to hear the call in my heart. I knew it was what I was meant to do. Within a couple of months I was enrolled in Coach Inc.  I hired my own coach, studied hard, explored more avenues of coaching and spirituality until finally, when the time was right, I sold my electrical business. I have never been happier or more fulfilled in my work and in my life. Currently I am on only one medicine and I owe my health to following my guidance.

Now I am blessed to be on faculty at Coach Inc. training new coaches. This fills me with joy!

Personally, I have been married twice. In both cases I was married several years and the things I learned have been invaluable. Every lesson has aided me in my work with women in transition. I have a unique understanding of such things as sudden heartbreak, finding value in loss, learning how to love myself even in a crisis, tapping into my intuition when logic is absent and so much more.

As a Master Relationship Coach for singles I am able to guide my clients through the material with the knowledge of what works and what doesn’t. The Conscious Dating workbook once completed assists you to be clear on what is unique about you and what you most want in a partner. I did not have the advantage of this material when I married and I find it offers a solid foundation on which to build a lasting and loving relationship.

My Journey from Geiger to McCool

(clarity around my new name)

The time has come, after my divorce, to change my last name. With my business it is a bit tricky and may take a bit of time, but I am honored to take my mother’s maiden name McCool. I have my lineage all the way back to 1675 when my ancestor John McCool came to the USA from Ireland. He came with his wife Olivia. His son James was born 1709… his son James Jr. 1747…his son James the 3rd 1777… his son Andrew in 1801… his son George in 1827… his son Harvey in 1880, AND then my mom Juanita in 1921…McCool’s all.

About Coco and Me

When I lost my dog Allie and my companion horse Dee I needed a new pet to love and to feel loved in return! After a few months, I was introduced to Helping Hounds and I was rescued by my precious Coco almost immediately. She is a miraculous dog who gives me so much joy and everyone who meets her instantly falls in love with her. I often said she felt like a gift from God, then one day when I said this again, my granddaughter and her friend said “you do know she has a cross on her chest.” I looked and was astonished that I had not noticed the white patch on her chest did look exactly like a cross. I felt like this was synchronicity. I was truly rescued. We rescued each other. If you need a new friend, if you need to be rescued, then please visit Helping Hounds in Dewitt, NY.
